Loch
Killin is eight or nine miles East of Fort Augustus. It is reached
by taking the road east from the south end of Loch Ness towards
Whitebridge (B862), and just before Whitebridge taking the road
off to the right which follows the river Feehlin towards Garragie
Lodge. First sight of the Loch is spectacular as you emerge at
the foot with the Lodge on the apposite side of the river. The
track alongside the loch is not too bad at the lower end but it
does specify not suitable for motor vehicles. The view above was
roughly 1/3 of the way towards Killin Lodge at the head of the
Loch. Beautiful place. I must go there again.
